Consultant Rheumatologist

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Rheumatologist to join a leading tertiary healthcare institution in Al Ain, UAE.

The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care in the diagnosis, management, and long-term follow-up of patients with a wide range of rheumatic and autoimmune conditions. This includes rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, spondyloarthropathies, osteoporosis, and other connective tissue diseases. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams, performing diagnostic assessments and treatment planning, and contributing to clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and the development of rheumatology services within the institution.

Medical/Hospital

• Board Certification in Rheumatology (CCT/CCST, FRCP, American Board, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization consultant experience in Rheumatology.
• Proven expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex rheumatic and autoimmune diseases.
• Experience in outpatient rheumatology clinics and inpatient consultations.
• Experience working in a tertiary care or academic medical institution is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and patient management skills.
