Consultant MSK Radiologist

We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist (MSK Radiologist) to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the diagnostic evaluation of musculoskeletal conditions, with advanced skills in MRI, CT, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing accurate and comprehensive imaging assessments for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries, degenerative disorders, trauma, and complex joint and soft tissue pathology. This position offers the opportunity to work within a progressive healthcare environment alongside orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists, rheumatologists, physiotherapists, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and report musculoskeletal imaging studies, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound
• Assess and diagnose a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
• Provide expert interpretation of complex joint, bone, muscle, tendon, ligament, and cartilage pathology
• Evaluate sports-related injuries and traumatic musculoskeletal conditions
• Perform and interpret advanced MRI examinations of the musculoskeletal system
• Perform or interpret musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations where required
• Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports to support clinical decision-making
• Communicate imaging findings and recommendations effectively with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate closely with orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists, rheumatologists, and other clinical teams
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and clinical conferences
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support teaching, training, and departmental education activities where required

Qualifications

• Board certification in Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship or subspecialty training in Musculoskeletal Radiology
• Recognised Tier 1 specialist qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, European Board, or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Musculoskeletal Radiology
• Extensive experience in musculoskeletal MRI and advanced diagnostic imaging
• Experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound is desirable
• Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP
