Consultant IVF / Reproductive Medicine

We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant IVF / Reproductive Medicine Specialist to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in infertility management, assisted reproductive technologies, and advanced fertility treatments.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing comprehensive fertility care, including the assessment and management of infertility, IVF treatment planning, fertility preservation, and advanced assisted reproductive procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work within a progressive healthcare environment alongside embryologists, fertility specialists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the delivery and development of high-quality reproductive medicine services.

Medical/Hospital

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with male and female infertility
• Conduct comprehensive fertility assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage patients throughout IVF and other assisted reproductive treatment cycles
• Perform and oversee fertility procedures, including ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, and ICSI
• Monitor follicular development and treatment response through ultrasound and appropriate investigations
• Interpret hormonal, reproductive, and fertility-related investigations
• Manage complex infertility cases and provide appropriate treatment strategies
• Provide pre-treatment counselling and explain fertility treatment options, expected outcomes, and potential risks
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure patient care and follow-up
• Collaborate closely with embryologists, fertility nurses, genetic specialists, and other multidisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
• Support teaching, training, and departmental education activities where required

Qualifications

• Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology with fellowship or subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine / IVF
• Recognised Tier 1 specialist qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, European Board, or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in IVF, Reproductive Medicine, or Assisted Reproductive Technology
• Extensive experience in IVF treatment and assisted reproductive procedures
• Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP
