Consultant Gastroenterologist

We are seeking an experienced Female Consultant Gastroenterologist with ERCP expertise to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide specialized gastroenterology care, including advanced endoscopic procedures, diagnosis, and management of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders. The role requires strong expertise in ERCP procedures and the ability to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
• Perform advanced endoscopic procedures, including ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography).
• Manage complex biliary and pancreatic disorders.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures according to clinical standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, and other specialists to provide multidisciplinary care.
• Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff.

Medical/Hospital

• Female Consultant-level qualification in Gastroenterology.
• Proven experience and expertise in performing ERCP procedures.
• Board certification or equivalent recognized qualification (American Board, Canadian Board, UK CCT/CCST, European Board, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Gastroenterology.
• Strong experience managing complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary cases.
• Eligible for or holding a valid UAE medical license (DHA/DOH/MOHAP) is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
