Consultant Critical Care

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant in Critical Care to join a leading tertiary healthcare institution in Al Ain, UAE.

The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care for critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including the management of multi-organ failure, sepsis, respiratory failure, hemodynamic instability, and complex post-operative cases. The role involves leading multidisciplinary critical care teams, overseeing advanced life support interventions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based intensive care services. The Consultant will also contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, protocol development, and the advancement of critical care services within the institution.

Medical/Hospital

• Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine, Intensive Care, or Anesthesiology with critical care subspecialty (CCT/CCST, FRCA, American Board, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization consultant experience in Critical Care/ICU.
• Proven expertise in managing complex critically ill patients in a tertiary care ICU setting.
• Experience in advanced ventilatory support and multi-organ failure management.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
• Experience working in a tertiary care or academic medical institution is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and patient management skills.
