We are seeking a highly experienced Female Consultant Cardiologist to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the diagnosis, management, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases, with strong experience in providing comprehensive cardiology care.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality cardiovascular services, including advanced diagnostic evaluation, evidence-based medical management, and appropriate cardiac interventions. This position offers the opportunity to work within a progressive healthcare environment alongside cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams.

Skills Description

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions
  • Provide comprehensive medical management of acute and chronic cardiac diseases
  • Evaluate and manage patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease
  • Perform and interpret cardiac investigations, including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and ambulatory monitoring
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, diagnostic findings, and evidence-based guidelines
  • Manage patients with acute cardiac presentations and provide appropriate emergency cardiac care
  • Monitor treatment response and adjust medications and management plans accordingly
  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure cardiac care
  • Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, radiologists, and other specialists
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical case discussions, and cardiac conferences
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
  • Support teaching, training, and departmental education activities where required

Qualifications

  • Board certification in Cardiology
  • Recognised Tier 1 specialist qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, European Board, or an equivalent recognised qualification
  • Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Cardiology
  • Extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases
  • Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP

Required Skills

  • Extensive expertise in clinical cardiology
  • Strong experience in managing coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease
  • Proficiency in interpreting ECGs, echocardiography, stress tests, and other cardiac investigations
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based cardiovascular treatment
  • Experience in managing acute and complex cardiac cases
  • Strong clinical judgement and diagnostic decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and patient counselling skills
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary cardiac care teams
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and continuous quality improvement
